CPU utilization low

Hello there!
I’m still using Keyshot 9.3 and I just transfered my license to my new computer.
I have a problem because the CPU utilization is low. 40% maximum.

  • The CPU usage in Keyshot is set to 94%
  • The CPU cores are only at 40°C
  • The Keyshot processes priorities have been set to “Above normal” and “high” with no change
  • The CPU runs at 800mhz instead of 2Ghz. While running a stress test on CPUz, the CPU doesn’t go faster.
    Any idea on how to solve this issue? I will also check with the computer manufacturer.

GPU: RTX A2000 12Gb

I wonder if it will have something to do with KeyShot actually. Maybe you can try to download for example CPU-Z which has a very small benchmark tool (quick as well) and check if that will run your CPU at 100% once it benches multiple cores.

Seems to me some other setting is keeping your laptop from going full speed. For example, not having it plugged in to a power outlet. For some laptops that’s reason to stay slow (depending on settings).
